1. Jennifer is the daughter of actor-singer-choreographer-dancer Joel Grey and actress Jo Wilder. Following in the family footsteps, she started her acting career in the early 1980s, landing supporting roles in small movies.
2. She enrolled at New York City's prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse where she studied acting under legendary acting coach, Sanford Meisner.
3. She and Tracy Pollan met at the private Dalton School in N.Y.C where they were classmates and later on became best friends.
